Cougar Career Center

 

The revamped Countryside Career Center is now open for business.  Students can sign up for appointments with trained Career Center Volunteers to receive assistance in planning course selections while in high school and opportunities after graduation.  The Career Center Volunteers work closely with Countryside's Guidance Department to help coordinate effective career planning.

The Career Center features a small computer lab where several student at the same time can log on to a variety of career related web sites that offer a wealth of information on career planning.  Many of these web sites, as well as the Career Center Volunteers present in the Center, assist the students with additional benefits such as learning how to put together  effective resumes.

   

The Career Center offers a relaxed atmosphere where students read up on the latest employment and business trends as well as access a library of publications in the areas of college entrance exams, test taking skills, resume writing, career descriptions, outlooks for future career growth and more.

 

Career Center counselors are available to assist students with career planning
