School Advisory Council
The School Advisory Council was mandated by the Florida Legislature to bring
into closer relation the home, school, and community so that parents, teachers,
and community members may cooperate in a positive way for the education of
children.
The purpose of the council is to:
- Promote the welfare of children and youth at home, in school and in the
community.
- To support adequate laws and funding for the care and protection of
children and youth.
- To develop a closer relationship among the home, school and community
for the enhanced education of children and youth.
- To increase citizen awareness, input, involvement and confidence in
Countryside High and the advisory council.
SAC meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month in the Media Center
at 4:00PM.
