Student Council

Welcome to our Student Council Committee. Student Council advisers are Mr. George Spencer and Ms. Kaylyn Bayly. Each year at St.Pete Challenge, we elect four officers, ten representatives, and ten alternates which makes up our Student Council.

Student Council gathers food for the needy each year during the holidays through the Salvation Army canned food drive. We have averaged at least two cans per child during the past two years.

Student Council also participates in Campbell's Soup label drive. We've collected 1,500 labels so far this year. Student Council has decided to "bank" the labels this year, and use them next year for a more substantial school-wide item (computer software, recess equipment, I.D badges, etc...)

Each year Student Council plans two fun school-wide activities for the students. This year we had a successful talent show which featured a variety of acts. The next activity will be a school-wide dance.

Student Council is funded primarily through sales from the school store. The store is open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. The store also provides a valuable service to kids by providing essential school supplies at a low price.
