Clearwater Jazz Holiday
This free, 4 day event features primarily mainstream jazz performers of national
and international acclaim. the festival is held the 3rd weekend of October each year
in downtown Clearwater's Coachman Park.
Clearwater's Fun'n Sun is several weeks of festivity in the spring taking place
in the City of Clearwater. Highlights include an illuminated night parade and a series
of concerts in Coachman Park. Also scheduled are a variety of athletic, food, social
and arts and crafts events.

Dunedin Highland Games and Scottish Festival
The Highland Games and Scottish Festival, begun in the late 60's and held
annually in the spring in Dunedin, presents a week of Highland music, dancing,
games and pageantry.
Dunedin's First annual Mardi Gras began in February of 1995. Main Street
Shopping District comes alive with this special evening fest and parade.
Bay Area Renaissance Festival
The Renaissance Festival is scheduled for a series of weekends in the spring.
Highlights include musical, theatrical and dance performances and games of the period,
food and arts and crafts.
John's Pass Seafood Festival
Enjoy good seafood on the waterfront of John's Pass Village. Live
entertainment and arts and crafts. October
St. Petersburg International Folk Fair
The folk fair, located at the ThunderDome in March, is a 3 day presentation
of ethnic cultures featuring traditional folk song and dance, traditional ethnic
foods and cultural exhibits. The St. Petersburg International Folk Fair Society
(SPIFFS) is comprised of 50 different ethnicities.
Festival of States
The Festival of States is a national springtime celebration that includes over
100 different musical, sporting, artistic and civic events. Activities include 7
nights of major outdoor concert entertainment with artists of national reputation,
a national high school band competition, 3 parades, an antique show and an arts and
Artworks is a festival of art, music, theatre and dance in the city of St.
Petersburg for several weeks in May. National and regional performers present
a diversity of art forms at no fee or minimal charge to the audience. Two highlights
of Artworks are the Mainsail Art Festival and the American Stage in the Park
production of a Shakespeare play. More than 70 events are scheduled.
